Well,.... what could it be that I'm asking a few of you to maybe agree with me on,... you know,... the ones who have accidentally stumbled into my blogs? I believe right now that this MFA world of ours is pretty much doomed and so controlled by special interests, that not many of you will really understand the true meaning of what I will be bringing up. I'll leave it pretty much open for speculation and what you might have to say about this work of art I'll be showing you. If you have any questions about anything feel free to ask someone else,... not me.
Now, in looking at this portion of this supposed masterpiece painting of a self-portrait of Albrecht Durer, I'm asking,... is Albrecht wearing just one glove? You might even come to the conclusion yourselves of possibly a thumb-less glove of some type. Does this look right to the most of you, say something that Durer as the artist he was and would have painted himself warring? Maybe some MFA experts might say in this way,... just to save face, maybe it is some kind of a painters glove to keep the paint off of his knuckles as he is painting you see.
This Durer self-portrait that I'm now showing above was I believe the one painted in 1493 and is not the one hanging at the Prado museum in Madrid, spain. Well, after saying this I'd have been happy to discuss this painting with you and any of the MFA experts for different points of view. I'll have to change that to forget it!,.... since most everyone refuses to add their own comments and views on this painting and willing to discuss it while remaining silent.
This right hear below is what I'm talking about when saying they take it upon themselve to do their little damage before handing it back to the rightfull owner
You can see with your own eyes that when someone other than myself took this painting into a MFA expert's establishment to have it examined by an art expert, this is more than likely the way they had to carry it out. I say the supposed MFA expert who did this with a sharp steal pointer to this painting needs the same damn thing done to his own face,... only with a razor knife. These people who except flawed works of art such as the supposed original painting clear to the top of my page would just as soon burn original works of the masters that they say they represent and makes claims to know their work.
The only thing I can figure myself about this supposed copying artist who happened to have made the copy of a Durer self-portrait, possibly while looking at one of his etchings or even a small painted portrait of him in a book couldn't paint hands all that realistically. Well,... most likely this work has been known to have been in existence at least back to the 17th century. This is just a for instance, but it is known that Rembrandt's Wife's cousin, an art dealer in Amsterdam who just happened to be Rembrandt's parterner was put in jail for a while for selling forge works of art by previous masters.
Life could be so much greater for the arts if the MFA experts would only
wise up about what they are doing in this MFA world of ours. Yes!...
ours,... not theirs. We people are the ones who support our Museums and
Art Galleries. We do not need all the corruption that some of them bring with
it. Great art is to be looked at hanging on museum walls, not locked
away behind some large heavy stealth steal locking doors never to be
seen again until it come out for sale sometime in the future to be sold for
outrageous profit.
While some of these supposed great masterpiece are locked away in safe keeping,
it actually endangering the supposed lessor works of art by these same
artists of being damaged or destroyed. Let us say and assume some of
these works that are considered by these same MFA experts who gave the
right nods on the previous ones as to being authentic. Let's assume
they say they are copies of these artists works while getting together
with their colleagues and vote on the works possibly of being destroyed as worthless
copies or doing a little damage themselve.
Does that look like a thumb to you or would you say it's a rolled up glove from his bare hand with his other thumb wrap around it? Now, to make a long story short,... if it's your own eyes that happens to see this, you should realize in your own eyes minds of what you are looking at. Those other two works supposedly done by Durer's Hand of that etching and of that other oil painted portrait, and after seeing this original, what exactly do you think? Well,... I myself would say they are nothing but what the copying artist that done them happened to see when looking at an original etching of the artist Durer when making his copies.
So,... after saying this, who would you think in your own minds would have been a good enough artist, or better yet, an artist to make these copies of Durer portraits, other than a artist and print maker such as Rembrandt van Rijn? Most all experts and connoisseurs of Rembrandt know this artist was not to be very good at painting the hands. He would mostly just paint hands obscure or as a blur in most all of his own works of art. You see as I do in those mistakes made in copying those hands how Rembrandt must have really fought with it as he made them? The portrait was done so well as to totally capture the experts eyes away from these hand, for Rembrandt knew exactly how these MFA experts thought, seen, and what they liked. I'm not saying that this portrait is in a Rembrandt style, for when copying to deceive, you must first stay withing the artist style your are copying. I'd say personally it is a damn good observation even if it is mine and an opinion which would probably beat them all. What better way of increasing ones income as it has been done many times throughout the century's by copying of the great masters by art forgers and even some good MFA artist's.
Nice! I do like the way the copying artist of Durer happened to fool the so-called experts twice, with the painting & the etching, that is if his thumb was bare,.... it had to come from somewhere. Oh $#!t, his right-hand thumb is still hanging around the other one. That isn't a hole his thumb popped out of. Anyone care to try and get your own hands in that position while not forgetting to put that big bend in your wrist. I'd guess if that out of place thumb happened to be a rolled up glove from the bare hand and sticking up with his thumb coming around it, that would make for a more convincing position of hands the way Durer would have painted them.
